ACCESS-S Research

UPDATE Jan 2025: MDC shutdown date has moved to June 2025. This allows us a lot more time to switch over processing to the EDC, so expected impacts on the ACCESS-S2 Post-Processing pipeline should be minimal.

General Information
ACCESS-S is the Bureau's operational global seasonal forecast system. The latest version ACCESS-S2 went live in operations on 20 October 2021, replacing ACCESS-S1.
The Coupled Modelling, Seasonal Climate Processes and Seasonal & Marine Applications teams in Research lead ACCESS-S development, post-processing, verification and product development, including maintenance of these webpages.
